Glaser has been operating in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area (including Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Delaware) for twelve years.

Getting it done

Glaser has built its reputation on providing timely results under some of the toughest schedules. EIFS applicators are frequently the last contractors on a construction site, brought in under time constraints and intense conditions. Jobs often arrive at our doorstep with schedules in the trash and the general contractor pacing holes in the carpet. You can give us that impossible deadline. We’ll meet it.

But meeting deadlines is only half the solution. We understand that you need your EIFS installation performed within your schedule but at the same time correctly, with competence, and without hassle. Yes, we do all of that.

We are proud that we have the ability to meet almost any deadline and still perform workmanship that sets an example above and beyond the industry standards. We strongly encourage third party inspections for all of our projects: they ensure correctness, are healthy for the industry, and prove the integrity of our work. Our work has never failed an inspection.

Glaser is a high-octane performance vehicle. You press the pedal, and we go zero to sixty in two seconds. We hug the turns, flex our engine, and cross the finish line miles ahead of the competition. We don’t just get it done. We get it done on time and we get it done right.

Depth, experience, and value engineering

Twenty-four years ago, Chris Glaser began working in the EIFS industry. Twelve years later, he founded and became President of Glaser, Inc. Chris has built the company on his deep industry knowledge, field experience, and wide understanding of the many challenges faced in every project.

In its twelve years, Glaser has always practiced Value Engineering (VE). VE is improving the value of goods and services by increasing function and reducing cost. Essentially, it means you get more bang for your buck.

VE is a difficult thing to pursue but possible with experience and skill. We have been introduced to projects where, due to our experience, we can immediately identify extraneous materials and costs, call the architect, run the changes by the manufacturer, and in ten minutes the project is saved thousands of dollars in materials and labor.

No worries

Glaser is on top of things all the way through. We take inventory, double check lists, and regularly touch base with suppliers so that as soon as something goes wrong, we can fix the problem immediately. Twelve years in business has prepared us to take care of problems of all shapes and sizes. Mistakes can still happen. But with Glaser, you might not even notice.

Involvement and communication

The owner knows the building. The general contractor knows the scope. The architect knows the vision. Glaser knows the EIFS. But without good communication between all parties, the project can quickly become mired in misunderstandings, excessive spending, and delays.

In the pre-construction and negotiation phase, we want you to ask us as many questions as possible. If you hire Glaser, you have access to our deep understanding of EIFS installations and everything surrounding it. We want you to take advantage of our knowledge and expertise.

By practicing good communication, the project gets completed more efficiently and you save both time and money. We strive to identify and solve problems before they cause any delays to the project. But this doesn’t happen magically. We need to talk to you and you need to talk to us.

Chris Glaser, President of Glaser, Inc., will be involved personally in every project. We make it easy for you to get in touch with him before, during, and after a project. Chris doesn’t sit behind a desk. He inspects the job sites, reviews the materials, personally meets with owners and architects, and keeps his cell phone always on hand.

We take every step to ensure that we are involved and communicating. We want the project finished efficiently, correctly, and on time just as much as you do. Together, we can make it happen.

The perfect size

Glaser prides itself in being big enough to handle projects of any size and yet still small enough for personal involvement. We’ve performed millions of square feet in EIFS installations, many projects over 50,000 square feet, with Chris Glaser at the helm of every project. We’ll be there every step of the way from the top on down.
